Trent is a licensed CPA with more than 15 years across tax, accounting, audit, and advisory, leading a team with 65 years of combined industry experience and knowledge. He founded 5D on a simple belief: good accounting should be useful, not confusing.
Today Trent leads the firm's tax strategy, advisory process, quality standards, and guidance on complex client work. The 5D team supports preparation, bookkeeping, client communication, and ongoing service, so you get Trent's CPA judgment where it matters and a responsive team for everything day to day.
Outside the office, Trent is a husband and father of three, a Buffalo Bills fan, and happiest camping, hiking, fishing, or hunting somewhere in the Utah outdoors.

Alan built and sold his first accounting practice in college and knows exactly what makes a business profitable and tax-efficient.

Tax & Accounting Associate
Celeste holds a Master of Taxation from Weber State University, spanning individual, corporate, estate, and international tax. A multi-business founder with more than 25 years of combined military and healthcare administration experience, she brings rare discipline and a whole-person approach to each client's tax strategy.
Matt Taylor
Tax & Accounting Associate
Matt turns complex numbers into clear, actionable insight for small business owners. He is finishing his accounting degree this December and preparing for the CPA exams, and already brings over a year and a half of hands-on experience helping owners keep clean books and maximize savings.
Where we work
Based in Lehi, serving Utah County and the Wasatch Front
We meet clients in person where it helps and work remotely whenever that is easier, which for most clients it is. Most of the work happens securely online, so being across the valley does not change the service you get. We also serve remote clients in Idaho and Arizona.
We keep dedicated pages for the cities we serve most, including Lehi, Orem, Provo, American Fork, Pleasant Grove, Saratoga Springs, and Eagle Mountain.
